BookTowne made a dream I've had for a lifetime come true, with style and grace. It was the most wonderful book launch and I wouldn’t have done this important event with any other book store but yours. There’s so much great energy in your store and I everyone felt it,  all day long! Thank you from the bottom of my heart…I will always remember what BookTowne did for me. You gave me my shot at a dream, and for that I will be forever grateful! -Anne Dennish, Waking Up

BookTowne in Manasquan, NJ may be the best book store in the nation…for readers and for authors. My book discussion and signing at this wonderful location was orchestrated by dedicated professionals who love books. Their advance publicity for the event was outstanding and thorough. Best of all, everyone had a good time in the comfortable environment provided by the staff who truly understand what enjoying a good book is all about. I’m honored to have been able to share an evening at BookTowne.  Nora Hall, Survive Your Husband’s Retirement

BookTowne hosted the perfect event for The Cocktail Club book signing. I was thrilled at the attendance and am positive cocktail clubs will be popping up all over Manasquan by end of summer! Total professionals and a pleasure to work with, I look forward to visiting again for my next book's release. Maureen Petrosky, The Cocktail Club

The staff at BookTowne helped pull together a fun, successful event for my book, The Vegan Cheat Sheet. They were the consummate professionals—extremely communicative, organized, open to ideas (they allowed me to bring a guest chef, along with food samples), and excellent at marketing and promotion. Thanks in large part to their efforts, we drew an ample crowd and sold quite a few books. I was very happy with the results. Our endeavor felt like a true partnership, and I was impressed with their expertise and work ethic. I would gladly team up with them again. – Lisa McComsey, The Vegan Cheat Sheet

"I had a FANTASTIC event at BookTowne in Manasquan, NJ recently.  They alerted all the nearby school librarians, took out an ad in the local paper, and did a great job of spreading the word to their customers.  As a result, the line went out the door and I didn't stop signing my name for three hours.  Rita and her staff are amazing.  I'll be back for sure." --Dan Gutman, author of the My Weird School Series, Babe & Me, and The Homework Machine

"Oh, the lucky author who heads to BookTowne for an event. A crack team of booksellers does great advance publicity work, and will call up legions of smart and hungry readers from this sublimely literate spot--just a short hop from New York. The event for My Notorious Life was unforgettable and rewarding--with a fantastic, engaged crowd primed for lively conversation. What's more, this great indie bookstore is web-wired, social-media savvy, and follows up with ongoing support: months later, staffers were still hand-selling My Notorious Life and recommending the novel to book clubs. Manasquan is--no question--a book town, and BookTowne is one of the great indie bookstores of our time. Readers? I strongly urge you all to support this community treasure, which brings journalists, novelists, academics and wonderful childrens' book authors to your door. Writers? I'd say Booktowne's a mandatory stop on any road trip." Kate Manning, author of My Notorious Life

"It was an absolute pleasure to do a signing for Booktowne! One of my favorite appearances this year." -Dan Fagin, Pulitzer Prize Winning Author of Toms River

"A highlight of my tour was appearing at BookTowne. Rita and her colleagues had done a marvelous job spreading the word and hand-selling my book in advance of my appearing there, so there was a wonderful group assembled, the perfect combination of people who had read the book and ready and people intrigued and eager to hear more. It's one of those bookstores of my dreams, with a lovingly curated and eclectic list of titles -- so I felt privileged to be there and have my book there. (Oh, and I should mention that they serve free wine to their customers which creates a great atmosphere). After I talked and read, we had one of the best discussions I had anywhere on the tour. And I should also mention that it couldn't be easier to get there from NYC on the train, to a station that is a five minute stroll from the store." - Will Schwalbe, author of The End of Your Life Book Club

“BookTowne put together a stunning event for my new book this summer. How stunning was it? I’d never plan another tour without them . . .  I sold tons of books, met lots of very nice people and most importantly I had the huge pleasure of working with the truly professional and gracious booksellers from BookTowne.” - Dorothea Benton Frank, NY Times Best Selling Author

“If you want to have a professional, top-drawer bookstore event, then you should pick up the phone right now and call BookTowne. This is a store that takes its events seriously . . . They plan ahead. They reach out to the press. They contact all the local groups relevant to your book. This is a special bookstore with a special owner in a special community that cares about books!” – Arielle Eckstut and David Henry Sterry, authors of The Essential Guide to Getting Your Book Published

“I had a fantastic author experience working with BookTowne’s owner. They were enthusiastic, savvy, pragmatic, and supportive from the initial brainstorming/planning process through the follow-ups and culminating with the event itself. It was a fully collaborative experience, and I would leap at the chance to work with them again . . .” – Lisa Pliscou, author of DUDE
